Welcome to the Manufactured Housing Educational Institute’s (MHEI®) online training center. MHEI® offers online training for installers through its Manufactured Home Installation - Online Training programs. (See below for states that have approved this training for installers.) Manufactured home sales professionals can take the Professional Housing Consultant (PHC®) designation courses online through this site.
To purchase courses you must first register on this site by clicking on "Register" located on the left. After you register and login, you can select and pay for the courses outlined below, by clicking on "Available Courses."
The Manufactured Home Installation – Online Training courses are approved for training installers seeking licenses in the states of Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. The course is also approved for continuing education credits in the states of Nevada (see information below) and New Mexico.
The Nevada Manufactured Housing Division has approved the following courses for continuing education:
- Nevada Manufactured Home Installation 8 Hour Continuing Education for General Serviceman (Online Course and Exam)
- Nevada Selling Skills 8 Hour Continuing Education for Dealer, Sales & RMEs (CD Training Course with Online Exam)
- Nevada Manufactured Housing: An Industry Overview 4 Hour Continuing Education for Dealer, Sales & RMEs (Online Course and Exam)
The PHC® courses are designed for manufactured home sales people, both at the retail sales center and in manufactured home land-lease communities. The Nevada Manufactured Housing Division has approved two courses in the curriculum for continuing education credits.
